.... what do the central hippies do besides gather here at the Lounge for cookies and hot chocolate when fall and winter air blows cold? Any of you have big plans for fall like a vacation? I just returned from a mini-vacation and it's always stressful getting back. |

I held off for as long as I could... but then we went out of town for three
days and a cold front blew through... I finally had to break down and turn the heat on when we returned three days ago. This house has radiant heating and it feels *so* good coming out of the floor. |

I can't even hide from the weather, I have a million and a half things going on at my kids' schools in the next few weeks If I had my way, I'd either be heading south or hibernating until April though!! I just don't like the cold, and the snow and ice can definitely go away! |

I'm always happy when October gets here and the air starts getting cool enough to need a jacket... it's my favorite time of year. The icy roads and shoveling I can do without. |

| I love the month of October. The best thing I want to do if it's getting cold is to stay at home and sleep. It's also a good time to cook and bake cookies. |

| October is just an ordinary day for me with a fine weather not cold and not hot. So there's no particular routine to be done on this month. |
