It has to be disco or hip-hop, but the truth is it must be hip-hop because disco doesn't have an iota of rebellion in it, which means it was sleek and bourgeoisie.

The direct decendants of punk, other than more punk, are grunge, ska and goth--blending into goth-metal and even pop (Pink, Robbie William etc definitely show some influences from punk).

This music you mentioned won't come near to punk, but they are similar to disco in that, they must be placid, pacific, middle class that are fit for having a good time. But hip-hop is like punk because it has that touch of rebellion, in addition some of this music are struggling to leave the community where they started, but I’m not really familiar with them, which tells you if you don’t hear about them at large they must be still in the woods.
