Okay, here is one of mine. I was at a large outdoor concert out in the countryside. I got a little bored, drank a lot of beer. Then I see this guy renting out grass skis.

These are basically like rollerbaldes (which hadn;t been invented yet) but the wheels were about twice as big so you could skate right down the side of a hill. So I trek up this big hill with nobody down the back side of it--all cropped short by sheep. I must have been very drunk but I didn;t know it--I mean I am deadly afaird of both heights and speed (I only just leanred to dirve this year).

Within a few minutes I an carrening down a steep *large* hill and so terrified I actually peed myself but to afraid to fall over and to dumb to even try and turn to decellerate. I didn't stop until a helpful pine tree interceded (breaking my leg as part of the deal)

Seemed like a good idea at the time....

Whenever I am getting annoyed with someone for doing something dumb I like to think of the dumbest things I have done. It helps with the tolerance Wink

That's a good way of looking at things, Ratt.

Tolerance is very important.

I wouldn't know where to start, guys.

Most of my life has been making mistakes, but maybe that goes for all of us?

I have an inherent suspicion of people who say they have never done anything dumb.

Who hasn't?

Mine usually revolve around either the choice of estate agent or partner!

Stupid things I've done... hmmm, well let's start with starting up the Blue Ridge Mountains and Skyline Drive with two friends when the sun was about to go down. NEVER checked the gas tank, I hope the driver did! But no, we didn't run out of gas.

So the dumb part was not knowing how foggy it gets up there and we had a MISERABLE time before having to park for the night to sleep in the car. I guess I don't need to mention the lack of... uh... "facilities" Very Happy and the fact that even if someone in that position uses nature, you never know if there's a grizzly bear (or grizzly person!) 5 feet away. ICK!

Man, I guess I was lucky on that trip, we couldn't even SEE the road. I never saw the magnificent scenes we were supposed to see from up there. At least not on that trip. Went back a couple of years ago and yes, spectacular it was with the lack of fog. Smile

Since I am going back to college in the winter, I had a HS transcript delivered to my home, and it's clear to me that the biggest mistakes I ever made was not studying in high school!

It was yesterday night. We (me and my 3 friends) were drunk. And my messenger was signed in. We said whatever to a girl. She really get so sad and said bye. I never talked like that with any girl before that.

Deelip, you naughty boy!

Perhaps, now you are sober, you could apologize to the young lady?

If you are going to drink, make sure you are not in a situation where you might make a complete fool of yourself and regret it later. (Speaking from some experience). Very Happy

Although I was born in the late 60's, and have no real experiences to talk about, I love to hear all your stories. Keep up the good work.

Dumb things which I?ve done and encountered... huh! many to mention but one thing which I always have on my mind not to do it anymore was this.

It was beginning for Winter season and I have still a summer wheel in my car. I have not yet change my wheel because it was still a weather. One time we were driving for a disco and as we came out from the disco, the weather was so crazy. It was so a chaos storm and snow were there.. My God, we still drive to be home. On our way, we have an accident and I must pay 40? to the police for using wrong wheel.

deelip, we are another way around. I was the victim of such malicious words in the net. I don't think so if he is also drunk and I am sure he is not. It's just his will to do that to me. Talking up some stupidity on the net. From then I neglected him and even blocked him in my list. I hate those stuff. Because I am sincere and honest when I am talking someone strangers on the net.
