Any Doors fans?

I love their music - especially "LA Woman" and "Riders on the Storm".

Also, I read Jim Morrison's bio "No One Here Gets Out Alive". That was very good.

Shame Morrison overdid it on the booze and died so young.

Was there no better looking man on the planet than Jim Morrison?

He was absolutely gorgeous.

Mind you, I sometimes think that when the beautiful people die young, like Marylin Monroe, it is for the best that we never saw them as old.

Jim Morrison - phwoar!

A pub I used to go to in Kyoto used to show a great video of him performing.

Did you see the movie, "The Doors"? Can't remember who it was that played Jim, but the actor certainly had him down to a tee.

I just looked it up using a movie search engine:

Morrison was played by Val Kilmer, and Pamela Courson by Meg Ryan.

Of course it was!

Mind you, Val Kilmer isn't a patch on the original.

Actually I don't find him that attractive (hope he's not looking in!)
