| Saw this movie again today. It's aged surprisingly well. Other than the telephones it hardly looks dated at all. It's predictions are not quite due to come true by the scheduled 2022 but they don't look of the menu entirely do they? |

I just love seeing the "hippie" influences in movies like this. "The masses" always tend to look like unwashed hippies.
Anyone remember Quatermass, the UK series? There was one movie from the 70s that dealt a lot with the hippie culture, where all the hippies got brainwashed into thinking they'd be taken up by aliens or something. I wish I could remember the name of it. |

I remember the movie Quatermass and the Pit - that was truly scary!
Never saw Soylent Green though. I'd like to see it. |
