And running scared of the mainstream, empty headed automations! Seriously....Central IL, especially these oh so....special.....rural areas are not the place to be hippie-ish. It's pretty sad when you're outcast because your FIVE year old isn't into major fashion.

Anyway, a real introduction. I'm an almost 27 (OK OK it's less than a week....I'm 27) year old mom who works at home, volenteers at my daughter's school as much as they'll have me (we were homeschooling, but my daughter's super strong will made it not work in her best interest), and generally lives a "harm none" life. I'm openly pagan but raising my daughter agnostically because I don't feel I have the right to tell her what to believe. Overall, we're quiet people but politically active (and shockingly liberal), we do what we need to do to live the way we want to live and that's pretty much the end of it.
