| Who in here have kids that are wearing the same type of clothes that you wore in the 70's? Does this bring back fond memories and remind you of yourself when you were that age? |

I really couldn't imagine my daughter wearing what *I* wore in the 70s... she'd be much too embarrassed. |

| My daughter wants to wear the clothes she has seen from the 70's. She's only eight so maybe when she gets older, the embarrassment may come. But for now, she thinks these types of clothes are COOL. |

Well, if you celebrate Christmas, you will be able to save a lot on her gifts... just go to a retro store! Some of the styles weren't so bad back then, I'm sure. |

| Do you know if these clothes are cheaper than regular dept store clothes. This would make her day having the clothes from the 70's. |

Hmmm.... I really don't know for sure. I'd assume that if it's a local shop that resells things people drop off, it would cost a lost less than a place online that specifically sells "retro" because that's such a buzz thing now. The benefits of the retro shop, though, would be that I suppose they'd clean retro clothing up better. Just a guess, though. |

| Punk most probably had erased any attraction the hippie era created as far as fashion is concerned and when you compare the two, punk is almost space age, because of the glitter the chains, the hair color, etc and it's opulent too. |
